These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at playwise-pal.co.uk and any equipment hire agreement entered into with The Playwise Pal Rentals Ltd ("Playwise Pal", "we", "us").

By using our website or hiring equipment from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Enquiries and Booking

All equipment hire commences with an enquiry submitted via our contact form or by email to [email protected].

A hire agreement is formed only when we have confirmed availability and both parties have agreed the terms of the hire in writing (including hire dates, equipment, location, and any applicable fees).

We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion.

3. Equipment Hire

3.1 Availability

All equipment is subject to availability. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability. Availability will be confirmed as part of the booking process.

3.2 Condition of Equipment

We take reasonable care to ensure all equipment is in good working condition prior to hire. You are responsible for inspecting the equipment upon delivery or collection and reporting any concerns before use.

3.3 Period of Hire

The hire period is agreed between the parties at the time of booking. Equipment must be returned or made available for collection at the agreed time and in the condition it was received.

4. Your Responsibilities

As the hirer, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring appropriate adult supervision is in place at all times during use of hired equipment
• Using the equipment only for the purposes it is intended
• Ensuring the equipment is used in accordance with any instructions or guidelines provided
• The safekeeping of the equipment during the hire period
• Returning the equipment in the same condition as it was provided (fair wear and tear accepted)
• Ensuring any venue or site where equipment is used is suitable and that you have the necessary permissions

5. Damage, Loss, and Liability

You are liable for any damage to or loss of equipment during the hire period beyond fair wear and tear. Any damage or loss must be reported to us promptly.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use of our equipment or from any failure to fulfil a hire agreement due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Our liability to you in connection with any hire shall not exceed the total hire fee paid for the relevant booking.

6. Cancellations

Cancellation terms are agreed at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a hire in circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to equipment unavailability due to prior damage. In such cases, we will give reasonable notice and, where applicable, offer an alternative date or refund of any deposit paid.

7. Safety and Supervision

It is your responsibility as the hirer to ensure appropriate risk management and supervision is in place for your event. We do not provide staff or supervisors as part of an equipment hire.

We make no representation as to the suitability of any equipment for any specific safety assessment or formal accreditation. It remains your responsibility to carry out any required risk assessments for your event.

8. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse our website by introducing viruses or other malicious material, or by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site.

9. Intellectual Property
